Believepaw trotted over to the apprentice and nudged her paw on her legs, on the flanks, and on the back. "it may hurt where you don't know.. it might be worse tomorrow and we need to give you herbs to ease the pain so you can still move" she kept moving her paw across her pelt to see if she got any pain reaction.

"That didn't sound like a yowl of protest, more like pain, I'll be back" Believepaw snapped, twitching her tail. why would she lie, we don't need to be so tough.. she shot into the den and stuck her paw into a pile of seeds and came back. "these are called poppyseeds, take two of them and I think they should make some of the pain go away. I will give you some more before you go to sleep tonight so you don't wake up in the middle of the night with pain" she shook off the seeds from her paw, noticing there was a lot extra then needed.

Frozen could scent there where around three to five cats inside this entrance. It sounded like they where protecting each other and helping, so they where probably in some kind of group, or they where very helping. He dug his claws awkwardly into his flank, trying to find a way to get sympathy. He tried to actually embrace the pain, just to get the attacked expression, and limped helplessly through the most open entrance he could find. He pushed his way through some of the loose heather and brambles, leaving a big gap behind him carelessly. He kept his eyes mostly closed, focused on the ground, then layed down, his cut flank soaking in the hair, gasping with fake pain each time he inhaled.
Believepaw rushed over to the new cat joining in. "Are you okay.. what's your name? We can help you.. you can stay here for as long as you need, for forever, however long you want" She pleaded.
Frozen chuckled a little bit, wincing at the same time. "Slow down there, I'm Frozen, 17 moons. And I would love to stay here for a while"
Wishstar padded over to the new cat. "Well that's fine with me but, believepaw, that is my job to welcome someone, not yours" She scolded.
"Hmm.. it looks new, what happened?" Believepaw asked, worried.
"I met up with a.. badger" He coughed in between words and winced, trying to gain time to make up an excuse.

Featherpaw glared at the newcommer. she didn't smell any badgers near by, besides the one she and Mistedflower had already driven away. she got up,and walked over to Frozen, he eyes still narrowed. Featherpaw sniffed around the cat, and his wound curiously. "you don't smell like you've been near badgers..." she growled, accusingly.

Frozen glared up at the cat, angry for blowing his cover, but quickly realising it was not the greatest acting. "I hit it a while back, and waded through water so it washed off. Then mouse-brained padded through a patch of thorns and teared it back open. I find it very rude how you would accuse me of lying about being wounded" He held back a nasty growl, knowing it would come out to hastily, and he should stay looking sweet to be served on.
"Maybe there are a lot of badgers in this area" She excused, trying to stick up for the poor cat. She rushed into the medicine cat den and teared off a bit of moss, soaking it on a moist stone, and pawed up into a crack for spiderwebs. Then she rushed over to the herbs, grabbing some little scraps of yellow-red flower she knew could be chewed to prevent infection, marigold. She began to chew the petals and limped back over to frozen, trying not to spill any of the things she held. She had totally forgotten about helping morningflower. She pressed the wet moss onto his wound carefully to try and clean out the blood or any dirt, then spat out the little oitment she had and spread it onto the wound. After she held the spiderweb out on the wound, trying to stop it from bleeding.
"Oh, no, you don't have to" Frozen acted, he knew this cats sympathy might be the best, and she was so gullible. If he shyed his way into her heart she might be the key to showing those cats who's boss.

"you're a liar. you're pelt's not wet, you don't smell like badger, me and Mistedflower patrolled the entire area, without scenting other badgers, Believepaw, you said this wound was fresh, if he had spent all this time, enough for it to close over, and then it was reopened by some brambles, don't you think at least some of it would have healed, and it wouldn't be as bad?" Featherpaw listed the things she had against Frozen's story. she was determined to keep this can out of the clan, for a bad feeling comming from him being here. she wanted to grow up to be the leader, one day, and this cat, whatever his purpose, was going to ruin it somehow. "and besides, he wasn't sent here, specifically.." she mewed as a final factor, but made sure not to tell the new cat about StarClan, so he wouldn't be able to say that Starclan did send him. Featherpaw was young, and anything but stupid and naive(sp?).

Frozen glanced up at the younger cat "Those things may be true but I am telling the truth, don't accuse me of li-"
"Featherpaw, you are very true. But if he is lying, something must have hurt him and the least we can do is help" Wishstar stated, then brought her voice down to a whisper so low no one else could here. "Besides, I am planning on keeping a close watch on him to see how well he heals, you could say that" She twitched her whiskers.
"Well Featherpaw, maybe he is lying but why would he lie about that in the first place?" Believepaw grumbled. Everything feathpaw said was true, but she didn't want to judge this cat.
Frozen purred "Thanks for sticking up for me, little healer" he flicked his tail playfully at her ear.
Believepaw shot up an amused glance at frozen, eyes wide and twinkling, but she shook her head and looked down at the wound, trying to hide her curious smile from her clanmates and frozen.

Featherpaw drew her lips back in the beginings of a snarl. "well, fine, if you insist on keeping this liar, then please, keep him away from me..." she growled, turning, and stalking off to go find more evidence against Frozen. Featherpaw headed for one of the entrances. she decided it'd be best to go hunting, to try and get her mind off of the untrustworthy loner. when Featherpaw became leader, she would never let liars into the clan.
(uh-oh! apperentice going into the forest alone!!)

Wishstar called after the apprentice "You can't walk out of the clan like that, you need a warrior with you!" She rushed after her angrily, since when where apprentices leading the clan.
"Come on.. why don't you go into the warrior's den for some rest" Believepaw sighed at featherpaw, brushing her pelt against frozen's as he tried to get up. He winced the whole way to the warriors den, how could featherpaw think he's lying? She grabbed some moss from the fallen trunk outside the den with her claws and layed it out evenly close to the entrance. "If you need anything, just ask." She told him.
"Wait" frozen said. Believepaw halted and turned to look at him. "Thanks for helping me, no one really seems to believe my story. It must just be you're the nicest." He complimented. Believepaw lifted her paw and gave it a long grooming in the same place nervously. Frozen chuckled again. "Don't be so afraid, little healer, I'm not going to hurt you. Why don't you just stay in here and talk with me? It's been ages since I actually talked to another cat, a real friendly conversation" he explained.
"Well.. okay I guess" believepaw layed about a tail length away from Frozen on the cold floor, trying to hide her shiver.
After a long conversation they decided to go and get some air into the cut, which would help it heal. Then she would be able to give him a tour around the territory, if he wanted to stay, and she hoped he would be able to.
