Name: Silentrain
Age: Fifteen moons
Clan: RavenClan
Position: Medicine Cat
Personality: Silent and withdrawn, she usually would rather absorb herself in her work rather then strike up a conversation with a clan mate. But don't let this fool you, she is anything but shy; quite the opposite really. At times her tongue can be as sharp as any claw and her words can be laced with venom if you threaten her clan or disrespect starclan. Her loyalty with starclan is vary strong even though she may sometimes doubt their judgment or ability to control things, she would never turn her back on them and would willingly sacrifice her life if they needed her to. Despite her sharp tongue and icy temper she can be vary sweet to her clan mates, especially kits, and her words hold a great deal of wisdom despite her young age. Secretly she longs for kits of her own and can usually be found playing with kits at the nursery in her free time, a small way to numb the empty feeling of having a family. Also she is vary respectful of other cats and in return demands mutual respect.
History: Born in a small den to a beautiful she-cat and a handsome tom. Her mother, known as Stream, was a vary sweet and wise cat; while her father, known as Jay, was brave and quite protective. She gained these qualities from both of them and loved them dearly. She was a joyful and talkative kit, and ironic twist to her name, and given the nickname of 'little shadow' due to the fact that where ever her mother was, she was to. She idolized her mother more than anything and wanted to be exactly like her, matching her habits stride per stride. But her destiny wasn't meant to be as perfect as she thought it was and always would be. When she was still a kit her mother met a terrible fate. One chilly leaf fall morning Stream had gone out on her own, something she only did when she needed time to think and feel closer to her ancestors, and left Silent in the den with her brother Night. That night while Silent stood waiting for her mother outside the den entrance there was a commotion in the bushes nearby, followed by the sound of panicked paw steps and the reek of fear. Silent stood up and her fur prickled in fear, her little paws itching to run and cower inside the den. But something held her there as if ice had surrounded her paws and trapped her. A few moments later her father and his brother, Hawk, pushed through the bushes carrying a limp body, carefully laying it in the middle of the claring. A familiar scent drifted over to Silentkit and tears clouded her vision as she recognized the milky sweet scent, her mother. Soon after a burial was held for Stream, the whole time Silent held to her name and didn't say a single thing except a few sobs. Even when her father tried to talk to her she staid silent and withdrawn.
Not even a day after she started hanging around with a friend of her mothers, an old cat named Heather that spoke of stary cats and knew how to use herbs as medicine. She stayed with the she-cat, silently watching and memorizing. Soon Heather noticed Silent's intrest in the stary cats and herbs and started teaching her the ways of healing with herbs. Silents idolism of her mother soon shifted to her mothers new resting place instead, The place of stars, and her strong bond with they stary cats was born. She busied herself with anything Heather wanted her to do, becoming distant from her brother and father. She finally thought that from now on her life wouldn't get worse, only better. But she was wrong. A few moons after moving in with Heather she heard her father had became ill with green cough and dispite her attempt at healing him he passed away joined her mother in the stars. Grief swept over Silent and she started spending all her free time with her brother, scared to death of losing him too.
Through her grief she became vary wise and skilled for her young age, well respected by the other cats in the area. As she neared her fifteenth moon Heather started to become weak, She cared her for old friend until Heathers last breath, and even now she knows Heather and her Mother and Father guide her paws and watch over her.
Apprentice: Of course
RP Sample: The air was thick with the smell of lilacs and heather, bring back fond memories of days with her mother hand in hand with the sharp pain for her loss. As Silentrain slipped through the undergrowth her mind became lost in those precious memories, holding onto them like sacred objects. She knew doing so was silly and only cause more pain, but she couldn't allow herself to forget those vivid memories. She paused and let herself blink back tears. Only when she was alone did she allow these memories to neat at her, what would her clan think if their medicine cat couldn't even get over a few deaths? She had to be a stone, at least to make them feel more secure in her skills as a medicine cat. With a sigh she set off to do what she came out here for, gingerly biting through the stems of a clump of marigold and patting them into a pile to carry back to camp. Her memories locked away for now, her clan had to come first.
Other: Uhhhh....nothing?
