Featherpaw had run out of the camp, and tried to pick up Frozen's sent. It led away from the camp, but nowhere near the dove creek or any other sources of water. She soon felt tired, because she had been out training with Mistedflower all morning, and then fought the old badger, and then had some poppy seeds. She stopped, and sat down near a tree. Featherpaw started to groom herself a little bit, as she rested. She was a bit frustrated with being almost old ebnough to be a warrior, and the others treating her like a kit. She was 8 moons old anyway. 'That mange-pelt was lying....i know it....and if he's lying, then he's got something to hide....and i need to know what...' she thought to herself.

Wishstar tried to follow the scent of Featherpaw, slowing down at sertain points where she smelt prey near or far old scent of badger, just in case. She soon caught on to her scent easily and found her laying down. "You shouldn't run out of camp like that, even when you're a warrior" She growled. Then sat down tightly near the cat. "I know it is hard for you to accept this cat, he is very suspicious, but even so, we should try and see why he is lying if he is, warn the other clans. I don't think much harm can come from one cat when he is against all of us. It's not like we are giving away any secrets, just letting him stay until we can sort things out with him. Don't worry about it, he will probably be 'healed' in a day or so and I will send him on his merry way." She lectured, not sure if that was true. Of corse the cat was mysterious but he could be a great warrior. Of corse, he never mentioned anything about the starry cats calling him, but maybe not all warriors will be able to see the starry cats, or maybe he did and just didn't think to share.

Featherpaw snortted in response, and continued cleaning her pale tabby pelt. "he's lying, and i'll prove it. besides, if he has a reason to lie to us, and lie badly for that matter, he's got something he's hiding......" she mewed between licks. "and alot of bad things can come from one cat...for example; if one of the leaders from the other clans was planning something, they'd have control over all of there clan, and if they planned an attack correctly, they could take over another clan. Then they'd control two clans, and would be able to take control of the forest....but, of course, that's against the warrior code. it'd be wrong to have only one clan in the forest, because there's meant to be 3.....but an outsider wouldn't care....or, he could just be recruting cats to leave the forest....there's lots of reasons he might want to be here....he should leave, as soon as possible....and if he happens to have another stupid excuse for another wound, as soon as this one heals...then he's definatly up to something..." she explained, mostly just thinking out loud.

"I understand, but a day or two can't hurt that bad, and besides, we cannot judge a cat before we know him. Even if all the evidence points in the right direction there's still a possibility that he's telling the truth. I mean he could have taken a different route then where we checked. And besides, if he is up to no good, getting on his bad side might not be the best. Maybe we should not tell him we're watching him so he won't be so cautious. But i'm going to have someone keep look out at the clan entrance in case he tries to go outside." She told the apprentice. She had very good points, but she had to put up a fight for her to be in charge. She can't be pushed around so easily, she is the leader, and what she says goes.

Featherpaw didn't respond. she finished licking herpelt, and got up. "may i plaese go hunting?..."she asked Wishstar. "she can put as many warriors as she wants near the entrance...i'll be watching Frozen,weather she likes it or not.....hmm....keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.....if i can stomach being around that crow-food eatting mangepelt, i might be able to find something out...." she thought.

"well, if you're hungry then sure, go huntinng, but we don't have a lot of cats to feed and we already have enough prey at the camp to feed, we don't want to be throwing away good food because we let it rot." Wishstar explained, starting to groom her pelt. "Oh, and don't forget, full moon tomorrow"
